Lanna Heritage Runs in Our veins

The Thai craftsmanship & artistry is a testament to our rich cultural heritage

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Chiang Mai, our family invites you to experience a living tradition. Embrace the timeless beauty of Lanna Thai heritage through our century-old teakwood home, a testament to the harmonious coexistence of nature and culture.

Our ancestral journey began over a hundred years ago when our grandparents, with skilled hands and a vision for the future, raised their first stilt home “Baan Sri Dha”. Crafted from the finest teak and hardwood, our traditional abode stands as a living museum, its unpainted surfaces maturing gracefully against the backdrop of Chiang Mai's diverse seasons.

In Thai tradition, the kitchen is more than just a place to cook; it's the heart of the home. Ours is a special space, nestled among lush gardens of herbs and seasonal fruits. It's where the rich flavors of our heritage come alive, a place steeped in the wisdom and stories passed down through generations.

As our family grew, so too did our connection with Chiang Mai's diverse community. This area is a unique blend of Northern Thai, Southern Chinese, and Burmese cultures. Inspired by this tapestry of traditions, Khun Ae, a member of our family, embraced the local Lanna arts. Her passion led to the opening of two Thai restaurants by the river, bringing our family's culinary history to the wider world.

In 2015, we opened our doors to the world. Whether you seek a serene retreat in our bird-song-filled gardens or a taste of authentic Thai cuisine, our homes are sanctuaries for those looking to immerse themselves in a living history. Here, every corner tells a story, every moment is an opportunity to connect with a culture that has flourished through the ages.
